Silver jewellery is particularly susceptible to oxidisation. It is most important therefore to keep your jewellery in a box and store away from light. The best way to keep your jewellery clean is to wear it, the polishing effect against your skin or clothes keeps the silver clean and shiny. There are products on the market for cleaning silver, however should you require a professional clean of your Claire Henry jewellery pieces, I am happy to do it for you.
Some of my jewellery pieces are made with heavy semi precious stones. I use a nylon coated wire which is very hard wearing to thread the stones, or sometimes if a knot is needed between each stone, a double thread of the heaviest type to ensure a strong connection, however, with wear the thread may eventually thin. Should you notice wearing of the thread please return the piece for re-threading. The thread is guaranteed for 2 years from the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt.
Do not swim in your jewellery, squirt it directly with perfume or allow it to come into contact with chemicals such as peroxide.
